Our help is in the name of the Lord; who
made heaven and earth.
Everlasting Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
we bless Your name for saving us through
the dangers of the night and for keeping us
alive to witness another day. Help us to live
today to Your precepts and deliver us from
all the dangers of this day.
O Mary, Mother of the Word Incarnate, and
our own dearest Mother, we are here at your
feet at the break of a new day--another great
gift of the Lord. We put into your hands and
into your heart our entire being. We are
yours in will, in thought, in heart, in body.
Dear Mary, with motherly kindness, form in
us a new life this day, the life of your Jesus.
Angel of God, My Guardian Dear
to whom God's love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side
to light and guard and rule and guide.
